I talk all day every day about these text messages that appear to be for someone else, but I’ve never received one myself.
And it happened just like I said it does. As soon as you respond, the scammer will drop a picture of an attractive young Asian female.

It's been a long crazy day for those of us in blockchain investigations, and I want to reach out in particular to the victims of #pigbutchering.
I bet you're really confused.
You probably feel hopeful but cautious that you may see some money back.
I'm sure you don't know who to ask or how to get information about next steps.
Let me tell you this. The U.S. Secret Service SFO, their SAIC Shawn Bradstreetand specifically analyst Andrew Frey, have created an innovative means of freezing and seizing Tether. It's groundbreaking and nothing short of extraordinary. If you are one of the lucky victims who they can assist, they will find you.
Here are the steps that you should take as a victim of pig butchering to have the biggest likelihood of success.

Pig butchering has become one of the most sophisticated and formidable scams in the crypto space. Now experts tell us it could get even worse in 2024.
The family
I found my people.
They're crypto fraud fighters.
They come from all over the United States and even abroad(!).
They came to Santa Clara County's 2-day Crypto Conference to teach, to share, to laugh and to learn. Here's what happened: We also became really good friends.
It's one thing to have a bunch of investigators in silos working to stop crime. It's quite another to have a band of buddies on mission. I've never experienced this level of energy, innovation and collaboration in law enforcement.
